Kid Zone

What is Kid Zone?

The Kid Zone Program is a supervised before & after-school program with instruction, hosted at the Gillam-Grant. The program is coordinated to offer children in UPK, Kindergarten through 6th grade an environment of social, recreational, and instructional opportunities. Activities include arts & crafts, games, movies, homework time, computer use, outdoor activity, and much more!

Kid Zone is open based on the school calendar. It runs weekdays from 6:30 am to 8:45 am and 2:15 pm to 6:00 pm. Kids from B/B Elementary School may ride the bus to and from Gillam-Grant. A snack will be provided daily. Your child should be dressed appropriately for the weather and daily activities. We will occasionally be going outside in the winter months. Boots, hats, and gloves are necessary.

Kid Zone will be open on half-days and several days off from school based on need and at an additional fee. A sign-up sheet will be available for these days. You will be notified in advance if attendance is not great enough to be open.

Program Registration Policy

Register online or by phone (494-1621) or in-person at Gillam-Grant Community Center. Registration and payment with GGCC is required one week prior to the program unless otherwise indicated. GGCC reserves the right to cancel programs for any reason including lack of participation. Decisions to cancel classes due to low enrollment are made one week prior to the start date. If a class within a given program is canceled, Gillam-Grant will make every effort to reschedule the class on a similar day, at a similar time. If this is not possible, the class may need to be made up on a different day and/or time. Gillam-Grant adheres to a no-refund policy unless otherwise indicated specific to a program. Gillam-Grant reserves the right to charge a $40 returned check fee.
